A small, friendly, person-centred home delivering outstanding outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
Blenheim House is a warm, homely and highly person-centred residential home in Rhyl, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live meaningful, confident and fulfilling lives.
For the past 12 years, Blenheim House has been operated by Alliance Care Homes, bringing professional leadership, strong governance and a commitment to high-quality, values-driven care.
Our recent CIW inspection recognised Blenheim House as excellent, highlighting personalised support, positive outcomes and the genuine warmth of the environment.
Blenheim House is intentionally small, enabling consistent staff to know each person extremely well and provide support that is tailored, flexible and built around individual goals.

At the heart of our approach is a clear and unwavering focus on each individual. We work to ensure that every person lives in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where their rights, choices, and independence are respected. Safety is fundamental, but it is never a barrier to living well; instead, it is the foundation that allows people to grow, explore, and thrive.
We actively support people to access their community fully, whether independently or with staff assistance. Community participation is central to wellbeing, and we encourage individuals to build confidence, develop new skills, and engage in everyday experiences that matter to them. Our role is to remove obstacles, provide the right level of support, and create opportunities for people to enjoy meaningful connections and valued roles within their local area.
We also recognise the importance of positive, assessed risk-taking. Developing skills, making choices, and learning through experience are essential parts of living a fulfilling life. We work collaboratively with each person to identify safe, balanced ways to take appropriate risks that promote independence, personal growth, and self-determination.
Everything we do is shaped around enabling people to live full, meaningful, and rewarding lives where they feel safe, valued, empowered, and supported to be part of their community in the way that suits them best.
Support plans are individualised around communication, confidence, emotional wellbeing and meaningful daily routines.
Clear goals, measurable outcomes and positive risk-taking help residents build independence and access community life.
Skilled and compassionate staff are chosen for their warmth, values and commitment to the people they support.

Residents are not just supported here - they are known, respected and encouraged to thrive.
Blenheim House is close to Rhyl seafront, local cafes, shops, leisure facilities, parks and social opportunities, helping residents enjoy daily routines and activities that build confidence and wellbeing.
